bamboo rainstick

Introduction

A bamboo-shaped rainstick filled with 3D print waste, producing crisp, soothing sounds when tilted.

Features

• Can be printed with A1 mini.
• Can be infinitely extended. (The longer the length, the more sustained the sound.)
• Reused print waste.

 

Filament and Printing

All items are printed using PLA and do not require supports.

 

Assembly Guide

Print the threaded test first to check if the thread tolerance allows for assembly. If it's too loose or too tight, adjust the flow rate.

 

For better printing stability, a brim was added and carefully removed using a box knife.

 

If you need to fill with poop, choose pieces smaller than 2 cm in size and use scissors to cut off any obvious connections to prevent clogging.

 

Fill the container with waste (long, thin pieces of waste produce a crisper sound).

 

Once all parts are tightened, it's good to go.

 

Playing method

To play the rainstick, hold it upright or slightly tilted and gently tilt or shake it. The internal filling will flow, creating a soothing rain-like sound. Adjust the angle or speed for different effects.
