Filament Tag

This model is a remix of the great Filament Swatch System, designed by Mark'sMakerSpace ( https://makerworld.com/en/models/544229#profileId-461999 ). The original system focuses on filament organization using 40x30 mm labels and special holders for storing swatches.

My remix is an alternative solution that allows for storing filament samples directly on the spool. More and more manufacturers are offering filaments in refill versions, which require reusing empty spools. This creates an organizational challenge – once the filament on a spool has changed, you can no longer store it in its original packaging, because:

• The material might be different (e.g., previously PLA, now PETG),
• The filament color has changed,
• Refill packaging is smaller and does not fit a standard spool.

🔹 What does this model offer?
✅ Compact tag – easy to attach directly to the spool, so you always know which filament is on it.
✅ Organization without additional containers – perfect for those who store filaments loose rather than in original packaging.
✅ 40x30 mm labels – fully compatible with the labeling system from 3DFilamentProfiles.com.

🔹 Printing instructions:

• Recommended layer height: 0.2 mm
• Infill: 100% – for maximum durability and strength
• No supports needed – designed to print easily without them
• Any filament: PLA / PETG / ASA / ABS
