Magnetic Tags (40x 20 x 5.5mm)for 8 x 2mm magnets

Format:

• Length: 40mm
• Width: 20mm
• Height: 5.5mm
• Recommended text height: 2mm
• Required magnet size: 8mm by 2mm

Placing the text:

The text can be placed with any slicer but you find examples in the .3mf file. If you want the text to be on the same level as the outer rim of the tags the required height is 2mm.

Colouring:

The model has been optimised for height-based colouring. If you use the right height not additional colour changes are required and the colour effect comes out quite nicely. 

Assembly:

In theory the magnet often can be pressed into the print (especially if still warm) and will hold onto the print by itself but I recommened a (very tiny) drop of glue to make them stick better. 

Watch out for the polarity if you want to stick them together. 

Printing:

• For the magnet part “hole” support is required, I recommend tree support
• No brim was required in my prints
• On a Bambu Lab P1S I recommend 0.16mm printing so the text is done nicely. 

Remix/Other formats:

• I am happy to provide other formats as required, but due to people heavily using other peoples work with minimal changes to gain “points” on various plattforms I do not allow remixes anymore. If you want to remix feel free to contact me.
