Description
This adorable heart-shaped catch-all tray/dish is one of several similar designs available on my page. It can be used for keys, change, jewelry, or other small items- or simply for display! FYI- some of the wood version's surfaces have slightly sanded to create a rustic look- it was more defined and richer in earth tones fresh off the printer.
It's an easy, no support print using the provided print profile which has split the object into parts with by object settings to ensure the decorative detail prints properly. Oh, and psst- the lovely surface design is just a combination of easy top surface settings and using tricolor or even dual color filaments *single color or gradient filaments will not produce the same results*. If you want to see how it's done, check out my how-to post on the forum here: https://forum.bambulab.com/t/make-your-models-surface-pop-with-a-simple-slicer-hack-6-easy-steps/150995?u=ominous_fyxen
The associated print profiles are provided for tricolor matte/silk PLA, and one for a mix of wood/tri-color matte PLA. I do not have a Bambu Studio print profile specifically refined for predominantly silk PLA (the ones I have are for my Kobra S1) but will post one when I have done a test run on my A1 mini.
NOTE: The wood PLA profile is for a .6mm hardened steel nozzle to help handle the more abrasive wood filament and reduce the chance of clogging- which is more likely with smaller stainless nozzles. You can try to use a .4mm stainless, but if it clogs or doesn't turn out well- please don't blame my profile as my profile is tailored for the wood print.
If you like this design, I have several other similar models with this lovely geometric pattern and more in development, so follow me or stop back on occasion to check them out!
