🐶💜 Love is Blind! 💜🐶
The first-ever articulated, print-in-place model designed by a fully blind person! 😍♿
Hey everyone! 👋
Hope you’re having a fantastic day! 🌞
Today, I’m beyond proud to share something truly special with you—my first self-designed, articulated, print-in-place guide dog model! 🦮✨
Originally, this was meant to be a Valentine’s gift for my amazing girlfriend (you can spot the chocolates in the basket! 🍫😉), but due to its complexity—and the extra challenge of designing as a blind creator—it took a lot more time than expected! 😅
💬 The engraving on the handle reads:
"Thank you for being my life guide." ❤️
💜 Some parts of the dog are printed in purple, as it's the internationally recognized color for disability awareness.
🦮 The body, legs, and paws feature print-in-place articulation, while the head is separately printed with a fully articulated jaw!
🔹 Why does this matter?
As a fully blind 3D designer, I created this model entirely without sight. This project is a testament to what’s possible when accessibility, creativity, and technology come together.
