By popular request, a smaller version of my Sliding Hex Fidget toy (Big Version)!

 

Want a cool hex fidget toy, but don't want to spend 21 hours and 300g of filament on it?  You're in luck!

 

Fully print-in-place, the associated print profile should work well on all Bambu printers.  Tolerances are a bit tight (0.2mm between pieces), but I was able to slide all of the joints straight off the print bed.  Wait for it to fully cool before removing!

 

If you want to roll your own print parameters, I do recommend:

• Arachne wall generator
• Outer/Inner wall generation (to help with dimensional tolerance)
• 0.4mm nozzle

Note: the size and complexity of the model mean that slicing could take a few minutes.  Trust the slicer and go have a cup of coffee!

 

Another note: the toy gets smoother the more you play with it.
