A Minecraft Movie Orb of Dominance

With the new Minecraft Movie Approaching 4th April to get a head start for all you Minecraft fans, I have Designed the Orb of Dominance that ‘Steve’  (Jack Black) uses to transport himself and the crew to Minecraft world, I have only seen the trailer so I have done the best to decipher and de-code the Runes on the crystal/glass case.

The model prints with no supports but the key to the print is the infill percentage and type. I tried various infills and found the best to be concentric at 10% infill, 2 wall loops, top surface ironing on, with the outer wall slowed down to 60mm/s.

I printed these in BBL Transparent clear and Teal.

I placed a white led underneath the cube so it glows and had a really cool effect.
