Hourglass Heron´s fountain

This design uses the Heron fountain mechanism to pump water without any motor or electric pump for 5 minutes.

How it works:

1. Fill half a glass with water and pour in this amount. This will fill the bottom of the hourglass
2. Turn it upside down to allow the top of the hourglass to fill (sometimes bubbles can form in the passages, just shake it a bit)
3. Turn it back to the starting position
4. Pour a little water into the top.

The fountain will stop when the bottom is filled with water. If the process is done correctly this will take 5 minutes to stop.
