Jewellery / Tool Box

This compact, 3D printable cantilever storage box features a clever design for easy access to your tools, jewellery or other small items.

It is easy to assemble, but you can download the assembly guide, if needed.

There is a large version (3-layer) and a small version (2-layer). More layers can be added by downloading the extension kit. Note that -depending on the contents- after 5 layers, the box might tip over when opened on 1 side.

Dimensions:

Large version: ±250x122x128mm (WxDxH)

Small version: ±250x122x84mm (WxDxH)

Inside dimension per compartment: ±116x116x38mm (WxHxD)

Tips:

- If you have problems with warping, make sure your buildplate is very clean, use an adhesive spray or add a full brim to the models.

- I tested the connectors with PLA basic, PLA CF, PLA matte, PLA silk and PetG HF. I didn't experience any problems, but PLA matte and silk are more likely to break. Make a test print of 1 connector in case of doubt.

- Be careful while inserting the connectors. Support the inside of the boxes while inserting the connectors.

- Make sure the lids are cooled down completely before assembling. If the material is still warm, it can permanently bend.
