For any visual learners out there, please enjoy this brief video demonstrating how the potions look and how they can be filled with printer poop:
These printed bottles are meant to resemble magic potion bottles you'd find in RPGs or video games like Dungeons and Dragons! These are designed to be printed in transparent or regular PLA (the images above utilized SUNLU Clear PLA).
Once printed they can be filled with leftover printer purge waste (printer poop), or anything else you'd like, to give it the impression it's filled and useable! Plus, it adds a neat tactile feeling when handled.
Warning: drinking these potions filled with plastic waste will not have any actual intended magical effects. Well, except the poison one I suppose. But you're still advised not to drink that either.
The potion caps can be inserted and removed at-will. They will remain snug inside the potion bottle to prevent any accidental spills.
Speaking of potion caps, I included a “PLAINE BASE” as the 5th plate of the primary print profile (and as a seperate downloadable file) so that anyone can customize a potion cap to their liking! Think yellow should be stamina instead of xp? Add a new potion cap with a lightning bolt on it!
-If you DO create some custom potion caps, I highly encourage you to add your own print profiles for others to check them out!
Speaking of customization - if you intend to utilize and kind of transparent material, know that each potion bottle is printed with a different sparse infill pattern to create unique visuals for the potion bottle!
Red Health Potion Bottle utilizes the Grid Sparse Infill Pattern:
Blue Mana Potion Bottle utilizes the Adaptive Cubic Sparse Infill Pattern:
Yellow XP Potion Bottle utilizes the Cross Hatch Sparse Infill Pattern:
Green Poison Potion Bottle utilizes the Gyroid Sparse Infill Pattern:
