Description
Why let free eco-friendly water go to waste? This diverter is used to redirect rainwater from a downspout into an alternative location or container. Multiple models designed to fit a rectangular downspouts with dimensions of:
The diverter features a 20 mm hose connection, which allows for easy attachment of a hose or tubing. To ensure a secure connection, a hose clamp or clamp collar can be used to tighten and secure the hose onto the diverter.
A simple filter prevents leaves from sneaking and clogging the hose. Pro tip: Clean it regularly—unless you want your downspout to become a leaf storage unit.
In case of heavy rainfall, if the hose becomes clogged, or if the barrel / container gets full, the diverter is designed to allow water to flow through the downspout as a backup. This ensures that water can still be safely directed away from the downspout and prevents any potential overflow or water damage.
I've been using PLA for months in a shaded area with no issues. However, PETG, ASA, or ABS are recommended for outdoor and sunny conditions for better long-term durability.
