Description

Mosshead Kokedama is a minimalist head designed to pair with Corcelain’s modular vases, inspired by the Japanese art of kokedama. Simply screw the circle vase onto the head, add the hollow icosahedron filled it with moss, and create your own zen mossarium. Perfect for adding a natural, calming vibe to your desk or home.

Project Features

  • Minimalist head with clean lines, designed to screw onto Corcelain’s circle vase (if you don't have one, it works with a printed version without problems).
  • Hollow icosahedron to fill with locally sourced moss, in kokedama style.
  • Easy to assemble and customize—just add moss and soild and let nature do the rest.
  • Can be used as a regular pot base withlout the mossy icosaedron.

Usage Ideas

  • Create a mini zen garden on your office desk or workspace.
  • Add a touch of greenery to your living room, bedroom, or any indoor space.
  • Experiment with different moss types or small plants to personalize your Mosshead or use preserved moss.
  • Combine art, nature, and functionality in one eye-catching design.

How to

  • Source a sheet of moss from your backyard (or from friends, asking permission). Sphagnum moss and other types that can be folded work better.
  • Fill the icosahedron with the moss, pushing it to fit well
  • Fill the core of the sphere and the pot with a mix of soil (Clay-based Soil, bonsai or cactus mix, dried moss or coconut fiber or what you have available)
  • Put the icosaedron on the pot, water and trim the moss.
  • Spray the moss with water as needed.
