Buy-In Box: Batuuan Spira

Running a cantina with players new to Sabacc—especially those without their own credits—calls for creative solutions!

This is my Batuuan pre-counted standard buy-in container. With this setup, I spend less time sorting through my larger credit stash and more time getting the game rolling as soon as someone sits down.

These containers also come in handy if a player runs out of credits and needs a quick loan!

They are designed to fit BLCKSTAR09 ‘s Batuuan Spira on Cults 3D - the most accurate digital model I’ve come across. A standard buy-in is 500 credits, divided into the following denominations:

• 10 Copper/Bronze Spira (10 credits each)
• 4 Silver Spira (50 credits each)
• 2 Gold Spira (100 credits each)

Notes for Use

Think of these like a roll of quarters—you typically don’t keep the paper tube or use it for dispensing cash when spending. I usually have players return the box to me or the dealer after they empty their credits, unless they prefer to keep it while playing.
