Practical Padlock (Fully 3D Printed)

I released the new V3 design on May 8th with comprehensive optimizations based on the old version.It features more reasonable gap control and installation procedures, as well as a more stable and reliable overall structure. I highly recommend everyone to download this version, and I will provide the structural drawings as well.

I will produce an installation video and share it in the community. Following the video guide is much quicker and easier than referring to pictures. Meanwhile, I will remove the installation tutorials of previous versions. The new version has major changes in overall structure and installation method, which are completely different from the old ones.Going forward, the V3 version will be the official standard. You can contact me privately if you need the old installation guides.

I have made some improvements
Many friends reported that the size gap is not enough to cause lagging, so I slightly adjusted the gap a little bit!
Secondly, I improved the design of the spring and it works a bit better now.

I feel very happy that many people like to make a model, and in just two days, many people have followed my account and downloaded this model. Some friends proposed some improvement methods, and I carefully studied these issues. After that, I couldn't wait to improve it.

2、Added a spring structure
      Add a groove inside the lock body to accommodate a spring structure that supports the cylinder, making the key rotation smoother
      Installation instructions: Use tweezers to insert the spring structure into the groove inside the lock body
 

3、Added more combinations of lock cylinders and keys
4、Added printing parameters for A1mini
5、Add hardware component replacement instructions
      Assembly can also be completed using the hardware components of the product
