 Splitter Model for AMS Lite – Designed for External Spool Usage

This splitter is specifically designed for convenient use of an external spool without the need to constantly disconnect the PTFE tube.

• Compatibility:
  Suitable for PTFE tubes with an outer diameter of 4 mm and an inner diameter of 2.6 mm, the same as those used by BambuLab.
   

   

• Design Features:
  The openings for PTFE tubes are intentionally tight to ensure secure and stable installation. It is recommended to insert the PTFE tubes as deeply as possible for optimal performance. The splitter is designed to be mounted above the print head (see photo), with the lower tube having a recommended length of approximately 40 mm.
   
• Installation Instructions:
   
  1. Snap all PTFE tubes into the corresponding openings on the splitter.
  2. Ensure that the tubes are firmly and deeply inserted to prevent them from coming loose or causing filament jams.
  3. Handle the tubes carefully to avoid bending or damage.
      
• Usage Guidelines:
  • If you are not using an external spool, retract the filament outside the splitter to clear the pathway for filament from the AMS.
  • When using an external spool, follow the same process: retract the filament and rotate the spool as needed.
