Description

These are some remixed versions of the magnificent scope designed by Ernpao and inspired by the legendary Nerf Vortex scope.

The main modification was the addition of a Picatinny mount, but when i used it for a while i had the strong urge to add some sights and so i did. The holes on the sights are sized to fit 1.75mm filament if you want to use some optic fiber, but remember that the design is not optimal for it

To mount it to the rail you'll need a M3x25 screw and a m3 nut.

To print it you need to use supports from the buildplate for every print, unfortunately, except for the Picatinny hook, that you want to print it with the thick upper face facing down. For the main body print it with the front facing down, and i prefer to use organic supports in this case since it has quite a complex geometry but for the rest i recommend standard grid supports. The stripes were printed with the top on the buildplate, this causes some bad surface quality on the side slopes, but i couldn't find a better way, maybe if you have a resin printer you can try with that. The front and top was printed with with the front facing down and, if your printer has a decent bridging quality, you can avoid using supports everywhere. For the front accent i recommend to print it with the back facing down with the usual supports from the buildplate. For the "side plates" I've counterintuitively printed it with the small flat face under the hole facing down, this keeps the support interface facing down when the scope is assembled.

The picatinny rail kit in the photo is this
