Description
As a proud Canadian, I've always thought the I AM CANADIAN commercial from 1984 was funny and entertaining. Recently, talk of the commercial has come back into the spotlight and I decided to make a tribute to the spirit of that ad and share it with everyone. This is not meant to be a jab at anything or anyone, just a little something along the lines of those little Canadian flags you see on backpacks when traveling the world.
There is a little “Joe Canadian” in the design if you are wondering who that little guy is. These tags measure 75mm x 55mm not including the ring for the keychain. Multicolor AMS print is the easiest if you have it, but you don't, the base layer is 2mm and everything above that is raised by 0.24mm. If you don't have an AMS, then you can print the base layer in white up to 2mm height and do a pause and a filament change to red for the rest of the print.
I printed these out of PETG but also have a PLA print profile. I feel that the PETG will fare better in the summer heat if you are outdoors better than PLA would but the option is there for you to decide what you want.
I hope you enjoy the print and please share this with other pround Canadians. You'll also need a small keyring to attach the tag or you can use string or ribbon.
