Description

I recommend printing this on glass with hairspray for an extra smooth finish. It is imperative to the proper function of the mouse that the bottom cover is smooth. I've spent a lot of time tweaking the dimensions to get something that fits reliably and has good rigidity compared to other competing covers. The dimensions will not be perfect compared to the original cover, I've made compromises to increase repeatability and to account for shrinkage.

I found that the other compatible covers were very flimsy and at times would flex and dig into the mouse pad. This cover is significantly thicker in the sprues that connect the pinky shelf to the main body. There are also no sharp corners in the design that can get caught. This cover can use the magnetic connection in the mouse, the post that is present when printed is short enough that an M3 nut can sit on top of it glued in place. Verify the material of your nut before gluing it as not all alloys are equally magnetic. The only other post processing you should need to do is add some teflon feet as shown in the photos. The mouse will not glide well without them but that's to be expected. This cover is not compatible with the G502 Lightspeed. There are already other covers out there for you. I care about my underappreciated wired brethren.
