BIG UPDATE – Version 2.0 is Here!

First of all: WOW. I’m honestly blown away by how much love this little chameleon has received. Seeing your prints and feedback means the world to me. 💚  You are the reason I keep improving and refining these models. 💚

After a few users reported failed prints and uploaded photos of issues, I started a deep dive into troubleshooting. I didn’t just tweak a setting — I completely revised the model and the printing profiles from the ground up. JUST for you Guys 

What’s New in Version 2.0?

Slightly Increased Size
The model has been minimally enlarged to improve build plate adhesion and general strength. It still looks that cute as before.

Optimized Base Contact Area and overhangs
The surface that sits on the print bed as well as the overhangs have been adjusted to significantly improve bed adhesion.

Reinforced & Improved Joints
The joints were redesigned once again — they’re now more durable, more stable, and still beautifully flexible.

Fully Reworked Print Profile
I analyzed and optimized the print profile down to the smallest detail.
The result: an even more beginner-friendly, near fail-proof profile.

What was the Issue for some of you?

After thorough testing, I believe the root of the problem was related to how the cloud slicer converted the original profile across different printer types and build plates.

In the original version, I had slightly embedded the model into the build plate within the profile to maximize bed adhesion. While this worked perfectly for most users (and many of you had fantastic results ), it seems that certain printer and build plate combinations didn’t translate that adjustment correctly during profile conversion.

Version 2.0 eliminates this issue entirely.
