Tap-A-Song (Mario Bros, Simpsons, Happy Birthday)

With the Tap-A-Song you can play a song (or part of a song, really) by just tapping the rhythm from left to right!  No need to know the notes!

This is based on my Tapophone Mini model, with a fixed sequence of notes.  If you want the freedom to play any song you want please check that model out as well!

The Tap-A-Song is a simple instrument that is easy to print, pick up, and play! It works under the same principle as a Slapaphone but without the need of paddles as each note has a thin membrane on the top that you simply tap with your finger. 
 

Note: Print this model in PLA.  I did all my testing with PLA and as long as you have a good first layer it works well. Some people have tried printing the model in PETG and have reported issues.  If you use another material and it works (or doesn't) please leave a comment to help out others!
 

Note: You need a good first layer for this instrument to work well. The membrane you tap to play is only one layer thick - if there are any gaps you may not get a good tone.  Tips:

• Properly clean your build plate before printing (e.g. with soap and water)
• Wait until the model cools before removing from the build plate (so you don't rip the first layer)
