Description

This is an advanced peristaltic pump with pulsation compensation.
The improved design features a dual-stage rotor system, where the second stage is offset by 60%.
This means when the pressure pulse from the lower stage ends, the upper stage begins – effectively smoothing out the flow and minimizing pulsation.

Perfect for applications where a stable, continuous flow is important – such as food printers, dosing systems, or lab automation.

 

What’s new in version 3.0?

  • Larger hose diameter → higher flow rate
  • Enhanced internal geometry → even less pulsation
  • Improved rotor stability
  • Compatible with standard NEMA17 stepper motors

⚙️ Flow rate:

  • ~40 ml/min at 1000 steps/min
  • ~60 ml/min at 1500 steps/min
  • Flow rate may vary slightly depending on hose elasticity and liquid viscosity.

🧩 Additional components required (not 3D printed):

  • 4x M3x30 screws
  • 6x bearings 686zz (or similar: inner Ø 6 mm / outer Ø 13 mm / width 5 mm)
  • NEMA17 stepper motor (shaft length at least 23 mm)
  • Flexible hose with outer diameter 6 mm, inner diameter 4 mm

🖨️ 3D printing materials:

All parts in this prototype were printed with PLA, but PETG, ABS, or ASA are also suitable depending on your application environment.

Assembly is simple and intuitive – all parts are designed for easy fitting, no special tools required.
