Description
I like to carry useful tools and gadgets in my work pants and have lately been thinking about getting one of these common bit drivers with bit storage. I realised that most drivers accept only 25mm bits. I like the feel of a full sized driver for most situations though and remembered that i had these 50mm bits, that i now have designed this driver around.
It is a truly compact size and has a very ergonomic handle that is inspired by pb swiss drivers (which i don't own any of btw),
when combined with the longer 50mm bits it really feels like a normal screwdriver.
it stores 6 50mm or 12 25mm bits, which it holds in place securely with ø8mm magnets, i recommend using 2 8x6mm.
one magnet needs to be pushed to the very top of the bit magazine, a second one can be pushed in using the endcap.
the magnets should fit pretty tightly, so some force may be needed to get them, where they belong.
the parts are printed with fuzzy skin for better grip.
for assembly you'll need:
1x 3d printed handle
1x 3d printed bit mag
1x 3d printed endcap
1x ¼" bit adapter with 27mm shaft
2x ø8mm magnet
