Star Wars Beskar Ingot | The Mandalorian

This Beskar ingot was designed to closely resemble the one seen in The Mandalorian. It measures 2 ½" x 4 ½" x ~½" thick. There are two versions of this model: one with a hollow center for adding weight and a fully solid version. For the hollow variant, I used wheel weights purchased from Amazon, bringing the total weight up to 6 oz for a more premium feel.

The ingots were printed in black Rapid PLA+. For a more authentic, metallic look, you can apply a thin layer of silver Rub 'n Buff.

If you're printing the hollow version and plan to add weights, pause the print at layer 834. These are the wheel weights I used, but you can use anything that'll fit into the cavity (38.2mm x 87.4mm x 7.4mm). The weights come in strips of 8 so you'll have to cut them apart. Make sure to trim any excess adhesive portions so they don't stick out past the weight. I put 1 strip of electrical tape on the weights to keep them together and I recommend placing the weights in as quickly as possible to minimize any visible layer lines from the pause. 

For the best results, print in the orientation already set up in the provided profile.
