Description

A beautiful spade shaped shingled birdhouse. It is easily customizable so you can choose the exact colors for your backyard. Easy print with snap together fittings.

I have included a ladybug insert, along with a wood grain faceplate and solid faceplates so you can customize and add your own sized hole to fit your exact needs. Hangs with 1 screw/nail for the rear.

The small screw is to block off the perch hole if you dont want to use a perch.

  • Update  3/23/2025 - Labeled the roof with an arrow pointing towards the front to make sure its not assembled backwards.

Printing and Assembly Tips:

  • Make sure the roof is not on backwards, the overhang is on the front not the back.
  • No supports are needed, although some of the edges of the roof shingles will sag. Turn on supports if you want it perfect.
  • The Ladybug insert will take a very long time(16+ hours) and use a lot of filament at stock settings, be sure to use 1 wall and 0 infill when printing it.(already on in my print profile)
  • Glue the roof and faceplate on if you dont plan on changing them.
