Description

This super strong, minimalist plant stand can hold at least 12kg/26lbs. It's great for real or “brick” plants.

I have included 4 different sizes with this, but feel free to play around and scale the height (x- axis) of the legs, making sure “Uniform Scale” button is unchecked. The tallest legs I included were used on the picture with the 12 rolls of filament stacked on it, I wouldn't advise go much taller with scaling the whole model up. If you choose to do that, just ensure that you have “Uniform Scale” button checked. Assembly is really easy, it will require some glue.

Assembly

  1. With the “X” indented side of the platform facing up, dry fit the Upper Leg part into place, followed by the Lower Leg part.
  2. If you find it not fitting correctly, try spinning the leg assembly 90 degrees. It should have a soft click when properly in place.
  3. Once you have the pieces fit in the direction that fits best, seperate the legs and glue along the “x” indent of the platform.
  4. Now insert the Upper Leg , and place a small amount of glue in the cutout where the legs meet in the center.
  5. Then install the Lower Leg, and make sure that all sides of the legs are firmly in the indent.
  6. Carefully flip it over onto its legs, and place a role of filament (or something heavy)  and let the glue dry for as long as needed.

If anyone out there has more than 12 rolls of filament and wants to stress test this stand, please send pictures or let me know how much managed to put on it.

Thanks as always for checking out my creations!
