Description
A tea light wall lamp that can be used as decoration above a desk, as a bedside night light or even around your living space to create cosy flickering vibes. 'Hygge’ as we like to say in Denmark.
Ideal for printing in black and gold for that classic retro look, but also great when printed in a modern version with bright colours.
Just remember that some light spill through the lamp shade can be expected for filament colours with low opacity. Print your favourite colour combination and let me see it!
The main print profile is for the A1 Mini and uses three plates, but I've also included a profile for the larger printers with one plate for each colour.
The wall lamp is designed to be printed with fuzzy skin on a textured build plate. However, if you have a smooth build plate or just don't like fuzzy skin, I've included print profiles without it for both printer sizes.
While I haven't tested the alternative profiles, all other print settings are the same, so I don't expect any issues. So, if you try printing without fuzzy skin, post a photo so I can see the results - and let me know if you have any problems!
The wall lamp prints without supports and assembly is without glue.

Once you've printed all the parts, assembly is very simple.
The small wedge that holds the main parts of the lamp together can be a tight fit. It is a good idea to push the wedge into the slots in the reflector arm and wall mount parts a few times to loosen this fit before full assembly.
Start by pushing the reflector arm through the wall mount cover. Check the orientation of the two parts, so that the wall lamp will be angled upwards when mounted on the wall.
Next, slide the wall mount onto the reflector arm.
Lock the parts together by sliding the wedge through the slots in the wall mount and reflector arm. If you have big fingers like me, then it can be a good idea to use a pair of flat nose pliers.
Then add the top part of the reflector, making sure the two studs align and fit into the holes of the main reflector part.
Now add two tea lights, remembering to switch them on.
Finally, you can add the lamp shade. And hey presto, your tea light wall lamp is ready to hang on the wall!
To hang your tea light lamp on the wall, you will need to use two screws. The type of screw you use will depend on your wall, but they can be up to M4 (4mm) with a screw head up to 8mm.
The screws should be placed 48mm apart. You can mark this up either by measuring or just using the wall mount as a template.
Don't screw them all the way in, but stop when the head is 3mm away from the wall. If this doesn't give a tight fit when hanging the lamp, then adjust this distance until it does.
Now, you are ready to enjoy the relaxing glow from your tea light wall lamp.
