Description
The Tap-A-Chord is a member of the Tapophone family. This version places all the notes of a given chord next to each other to make it super simple to play chords. Use it to accompany yourself singing or someone else playing another instrument!
The Tap-A-Chord is a simple instrument that is easy to print, pick up, and play! It works under the same principle as a Slapaphone but without the need of paddles as each note has a thin membrane on the top that you simply tap with your finger.
Note: Print this model in PLA. I did all my testing with PLA and as long as you have a good first layer it works well. Some people have tried printing the model in PETG and have reported issues. If you use another material and it works (or doesn't) please leave a comment to help out others!
Note: You need a good first layer for this instrument to work well. The membrane you tap to play is only one layer thick - if there are any gaps you may not get a good tone. Tips:

It has been said that you can play just about any song with the same four chords. While this is not 100% the case these chords certainly cover a lot of bases.
This model contains the I, IV, V, and vi chords in C. That is C, F, G, and Am
If four chords in not enough for you, try out this version, it adds D and Em to the mix for a total of 6 chords. Here is my attempt at playing “Last Kiss”:
To play:
B5 D5 D5 E5 E5 G5 F#5 G5 F#5 G5 F#5 D5 D5 E5 E5
Love it or hate it this song has a catchy chord progression. It is super simple to play:
