Pterodactyl Skull Fossil

Description
Pterodactyl Skull Fossil (Prehistoric Collection)
This might be my favorite one yet, and definitely one of the most interesting to model.
🦴 Meet the latest addition to my "Prehistoric Fossil Collection"—The Pterodactyl. 🦴
(If you’re new here, my 4-year-old and I have a game where I 3D print “fossils” and hide them in the woods for him to find. It’s become a full series of models—Dinosaur, Sabertooth, and now this Pterodactyl Skull!)
About the Model:
Pterosaurs were the first vertebrates to conquer the skies—and their skulls are WILD. This model captures the elongated beak, massive eye sockets, and signature crest that made these creatures so unique.
Like bird skulls, this was tricky to design for 3D printing—lots of thin structures and internal geometry had to be carefully reinforced so it prints cleanly.
Would You Prefer a Hinged Jaw?
I’m experimenting with a click-in hinge system so that the beak can actually open and close. Would you want an articulated version of this? Let me know!

What Fossil Should I Do Next?
This Pterodactyl is part of an evolving Prehistoric Fossil Collection—what should come next? A raptor? A dragon? Something even weirder? Drop a comment!
All of this is for him anyway :)
