Description

The Modular Hexagonal City Kit is designed for effortless printing and endless creativity. Featuring hexagonal tiles that seamlessly snap together with specialized joints, this kit allows you to build and expand your own futuristic city with ease.
The buildings and architectural style reflect my vision of the cities of the future: designed for people, not cars. And of course, hexagons are the base, since we all know: hexagons are the bestagons.

I offer two print profiles: one with the full kit as shown in the picture and one where every component is separate, allowing you to easily print the pieces you need, even through the app.

For the Green2, I wanted to try a more sustainable approach. The internal green part is printed separately, and the outer Green2 has a pause to insert the internal green piece, embedding it directly into the print. Make sure to align it correctly, it should be a tight fit.

For the kit, print plate 1 first for all the necessary buildings and the flat green/water pieces. Then, print plate 2 for the two green inserts, followed by plate 3, which contains the outer Green2 with the pause.

For the single prints, print what you need and adjust the number of copies, for the Green2 start with plate 8, then continue with plate 9.

Once printed, you can assemble the tiles in any way you like by first inserting the connector into one tile and then snapping it into the other tile. Note that the kit includes a few extra connectors.

The base are this tiles:

That are connected by such connectors, making it easy and very flexible:

I plan to expand this collection with even more unique components in the future, adding additional elements for further creativity and variety. Please provide your wishes and feedback :)
