Medical emergency Tag from Bambu spool NFC

BambuLab Filament comes with two NFC tags you can re-use for everything! You can automate your home with it, share your wifi password, but also link it to your Emergency Medical Information! Write down the most important bits (see below for an example) or put your entire medical record on there via a quick link.

There are lots of conditions where it might be usefull to be able to pull up a file of your personal medical records in case of an emergency. Maybe you are unable to talk, maybe you can't remember everything, maybe a seizure, a hypoglycaemic episode or anxiety. Maybe you have such a long list of conditions and meds and you can't remember every little detail. Or maybe you have a loved one you are concered about and want to have a quick and easy tag with info. Now you can make two from one empty bambu spool!

I made a custom tag in which you can put the NFC of a bambulab spool. Just cut one of the two off an empty spool. When you print the tag there are two pauses. One to put in the NFC (I recommend a tiny dab of glue!) and then another to change colors. 


 

With an iPhone you can use the Shortcuts app to link the NFC to a document with your information. 

I put it in Notes, but you can also use other apps. You can even automate a call to your ICE contact!
