Description

My niece and nephew are really into these Sprunki characters, and they've actually requested me to print them toys based on them. Well, printing them simple figurines made by other people is alright, but I also wanted to make them something myself from scratch.

After making my original Knitting Dolls, I came to the realization that the Sprunkis very much have the perfect shape for this kind of toy, and so I made Sprunki versions of my dolls!

These dolls can be used to play as normal figurines, and they also can be used to braid a cord out of yarn. The cord can be used for many arts and crafts: bracelets, lettering, limbs for pompom creatures, decorating, making flowers, etc.  You can find tutorials on how to use a knitting doll on youtube- it's very easy and a great way to learn the basics on how to knit with a loom.

The cord itself will vary in springiness and thickness depending on the weight of yarn you use, I recommend using medium weight yarn. Chunky yarn can be used but the chunkier the harder it becomes to braid it.

These come in three models: Jevin, Pinki, and the generic grey one. Unfortunately I don't have any pink filament myself, so I printed Pinki in white instead. If you're wondering why it's those three, it's simply because my niece wanted Pinki and my nephew wanted Jevin; the generic one is a bonus because I made him first to use as a base.

Also, yes I know, Pinki's ears are flopped down. It's because they would get in the way of knitting otherwise.

The pegs are printed separately from the body to ensure they're as strong as they can be. Inserting them into the doll requires some force, so please assemble them before handing them to a kid- push hard until all pegs are at the same level.

The knitting wand/hook that prints with the model is strong enough to use, but if you already have a metallic one you can skip printing it.

The figurines are relatively tall and slender. It works fine on my textured plate, but if bed adhesion is a concern, please consider using glue stick on the bed plate, or adding a brim to the components with Bambu Studio.
