Transformers Autobot + Tesla Emblem Logo Cover

This is a simple Transformers Autobot x Tesla emblem logo cover, which can be applied onto the front emblem of Tesla, or as a design piece on any surface, e.g. laptop, wall, fridge. If you prefer one that completely covers the Tesla logo, see here. 

On Tesla Model 3 or Tesla Model Y

If you want to use it on your car, please note that:

• I only tested on Model 3, however, it should work on Model Y. If it does not fit because the vehicle model has a different-sized emblem, I suggest trying to resize X or Y dimension to fit. 
• It only works on the front hood emblem, not the back one because of the curve. 
• It is designed to be a very tight fit, hard-press top of “T” of the print into the gap of Telsa's emblem - that's where it secures the print in place on the hood, then press down the rest of the print. 
• Automotive grade double-sided tape shall be used at the bottom half of the print so the bottom part would adhere to the hood, without leaving gaps. 

Printing Instructions

I have two print profiles:

• Default without magnet holes. This is the one you will need if you want to use it on Tesla Model 3 or Tesla Model Y, because the front hood is not magnetic. 
• With magnet holes, which fit 3mm * 3mm magnets. This is the one you will need if you want to put on a fridge. 

The first 12 layers are printed in black, and starting from the 13th layer, print in red. 

 

If you would like to have the texture from the build plate on the top, simply flip the model upside down and print that way, and remember to reverse the color as well. 

 

High temperature resisting materials such as PETG are recommended for outdoor prints.
