Description

Pallet with studs in different sizes (number of studs LxW):

  • 6x4
  • 8x5
  • 8x6
  • 10x6
  • 10x7
  • 12x8

The pallets with a length of 6 or 8 studs have a height of one brick (9.6 mm) and a opening on the side for the fork of 4.4 mm.

The pallets with a length of 10 or 12 studs have a height of one brick and a plate (12.8 mm) and a opening on the side for the fork of 7.1 mm.

Make sure that the pallet fits the size of your forklift.

I have a SIKU forklift thats fits to the 6x4 and a Bruder forklift thats fits to the 12x8.

The 8x5 and 10x7 have a odd number of studs, therfore it fits not so good with the standard 2x2 or 4x2 Bricks. But due to the odd number the middle pillar can be a proper brick bottom.

Important: The studs on the top are designed to have a tight fit to the bricks, however the bottom has only a lose fit to make the pallet stackable but liftable with a forklift toy.

Printing:

I struggled a bit with the print:

  1. Proper support between the boards: The current support is a little bit tough, so you should be careful when removing it, but at least I tried to optimize it.
  2. The first layer is quite small due to the openings for the studs: This can lead to adhesion problems. Therfore, make sure that the heatbed is clean, use glue or add a addional brim. I printed without brim as I dont like to remove it :).
