Description
Based on a 1980s design from my childhood, this is my recreation for 3D printing. About the only parts that remain from the original are the front & rear bumpers and the 178mm wheelbase
This is still an ongoing project. Please see the attached assembly guide for details, including the bill of materials, required tools, and step-by-step instructions. I have uploaded the STL files, but if anyone would like the STEP files, then send me a message, and I will forward them.
These are the files for the chassis, the 3d printed body can be found here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1237475-rc-mini-stock-car-body#profileId-1257445. The exciting new Roadster Body can be found here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1323097-roadster-body-for-mini-stock-chassis#profileId-1359678
New Additions:
=Edit 1= I have added a new folder for drafts and will add new or untested parts here. Feel free to download and try, but use at your own risk. First off is a new version of the drive gear that may mesh better.
=Edit 2= Now with a revised drive gear and slightly increased slot in the right bearing holder to allow for the slightly smaller drive gear. Added to the plates v2, and the STLs are included separately.
=Edit 3= Added into the drafts folder is a new version of the front section of the Top Deck. This should allow for easier access to the steering for assembly and maintenance (plus I think it looks better!!!). Please let me know what you think (either DM or in the comments).
=Edit 4= V3 revised print plates added. Body supports are now printed laid-down after testing has shown the old versions are liable to break along the print lines.
=Edit 5= V2 of the assembly instructions now uplaoded, with the final (for now) build plates and STL files.
