Description
Gremlins
I continue to share my movie signs (other movie genres will also appear in the future).
Today I invite you to print "Gremlins" movie sign.
Dimensions after printing and connecting:
250x48x15mm (a bit more with cinema/movie theater box on the top)
Only 4 parts this time: bg, frame, snow white, 3d glasees (optional parts printed with a 0.2mm nozzle: snow white 0.2 and 3d glasees 0.2).
all PLA+/PLA
bg
black, dark green, red, orange, yellow, white
First layer 0.16mm, each subsequent 0.08mm.
Ironing off
change of filament on layer:
1-31 black
32-35 dark green
36-38 red
39-40 orange
41-42 red
43-49 yellow
50-57 white
frame
black, red, white
The frame should be printed with the support option enabled. I used a support for pla from Bambu, but if you don't have one, you can also use PETG as support filament for pla instead.
Layers 0.2mm and 0.2mm (or o.16 and 0.08). Ironing could be used, choice is yours. I prefer it off.
snow white
Filament colours: white, light blue, blue, red. 0.16 & 0.08
Ironing off.
3d glasees
Filament colours: white, red (transparent red), blue (transparent blue). 0.16 & 0.08
Ironing off
Optionally, you can print 3D glasses 0.2 and a snow white 0.2 with nozzle 0.2mm.
snow white 0.2
3d glasees 0.2
In my version I used red and blue transparent for the glasses. It came out pretty well
After printing all the parts, the bg should be pressed into the frame.
Add accessories where it suits you best.
Happy printing.
PS
The bg element is a bit higher than in previous projects, so you have to use a bit of force to push it into place. Gently but firmly.
In my print it fit properly.
I added an “Gremlins bg without white on left.stl” file without the white background, if the first option doesn't suit you. The color change heights are the same.
