6 Lever Detector Lock

This is a functioning 6 Lever Detector Lock with warding and a curtain. It is based on a design from the 1850's, although it is not a replica of a specific lock.

In the video, I used the following:

  • BambuLab PETG HF: Gray
  • Hatchbox PETG: Gold, Blue, Red
  • Prusament PETG: Jungle Green, Pistachio Green, Matte Black
• Metal Dowels - 5mm x 30mm (2 required)
• Adhesive - JB Weld Plastic Bonder
• OPTIONAL - Threaded Inserts - M4 x L6 x D6 (4 required)

The screws and threaded inserts can be omitted if you want to glue the frame pieces together. I have included files for ‘XX-Printed Pins’ which fill in the countersunk screw hole - this should only be used if you are not using screws and threaded inserts.

‘XX-OPTIONAL-Dowel Jig’ is used to hold the metal dowels in place while the glue sets - this print is optional (which should be obvious, based on the name) but it is a quick print which ensures a high-quality model so I strongly recommend using this.
