Description
Very easy to print BLDC motor. You will need M3x12 screws or longer and 635z two ball bearings. If the rotor shaft doesn't fit into the bearing you will need to sand it a little (Different plastics shrink differently).
I used 0.7mm^2 enameled copper wire with 60 winds per channel for the 6 pole, and 40 winds for channel for the 9 pole.Â
The magnets are: four 40x10x3 neodymium magnets.
Explaining the winding pattern: The different colors is different phase of the 3 phases in the motor. Above the schematic, there are some letters—both uppercase and lowercase. The uppercase ones correspond, for example, to winding rotation around the stator tooth in one direction, while the lowercase ones correspond to the opposite direction. That's it.
They self start at 32 volts, but you can use 12 volts and little push to start.
