Remixed Capsule Holder (for 200% scale EduColon)

I've remixed the capsule holder portion of the machine.

Made to be used with the 200% scaled version of STAG-B's free “EduColon” capsule machine!

Answers to FAQs:

• All other parts I've used are 200% scaled versions of the original creator's work (see remix link).
  • (The parts aren't going to all fit PERFECT, due to changing the size of the original design. You may decide you want to resize the coin door specifically. I find it to be loose. But I didn't bother wasting filament to print another out.)
• Assembly instructions for the machine are found on the original creator's post (see remix link).
• My complete build stands at about 41cm tall (the machine and holder combined).

Key Changes I've made:

• Made the models taller and fitted for standard 5x7in windows without modifications. Greater capacity and visibility.
• Covered some joints from the exterior for aesthetic and anti-tampering purposes.
• Added window holding tabs for glue-less installation (and included a version without them as well).
• Modified the base piece for increased stability.
• Modified the back panel to match the new base piece and to be identical to the front panel.

I've used 1mm thick 5x7inch plexiglass (acrylic panels). These seem to be a fairly standard size, so it should be easy to find some. You'll need to slide them in from the top, and then carefully bend them under the topmost tabs to secure them. If you use thicker panels, I've included a version that requires glue instead (because the thicker panels are less bendable). I've also shown in the photos an example of printing your own windows out of clear PETG (the rear panel of my build is a prototype, and that's why it looks different from the rest). If you want to print your own panels, I recommend trying this “Print Glass” print profile.

Printed on Bambu Lab P1S with 0.4mm nozzle on Textured PEI Plate with Bambu PLA Basic (purple)

*I've also shown a sample window printed on Engineering Plate with Bambu PETG Translucent (clear)

**for the rest of the build, I've used PLA Basic (Bambu Green) and PETG Basic / PETG HF (black)

I've added the (unaltered by me) top panel and door so that users have all they need for the capsule holder right here.

I reached out to the original creator STAG-B to confirm if my remix was okay, upon discovering that the thing I was remixing was actually a re-upload of their work. They OK-d it and even decided to change their license to “CC BY-NC-SA 4.0”. Thanks very much to them for that! I've updated the remix link for this post to direct to their original post as well.

I've uploaded a new print profile for the machine itself

I've also re-uploaded the capsule holder print profile with some edits (see description of the print profile for more details).

All the parts you should need to print for my remixed capsule holder and the rest of the machine should be present now.

I expect this should help many people to be able to print out the project much easier than before!
