Fidget Disc – A Quiet, Pocket-Sized Thumb Spinner

 

This is my first time designing a fidget toy, so if you have any suggestions or tweaks (especially for print profiles), I’d love to see them!

 

I made the Fidget Disc because I wanted something to keep my hands busy without making noise—perfect for work or any quiet space. The design features a textured internal disc that you spin using your thumb. The smooth outer ring makes it comfortable to hold, and it’s compact enough to carry in your pocket.

Getting It Ready:

When it comes off the print bed, you’ll need to break the internal supports:

1. Pinch the center of the disc and twist—it should snap free without too much effort.
2. Twist it back and forth a few times to loosen it up.

3. Use it for a couple of minutes to fully break it in—the motion gets smoother over time.

    

After a bit of use, the spin becomes much easier and more satisfying. The more you fidget with it, the better it feels!
