Un convogliatore che fa anche da protezione per la gola della ventola AUX, per evitare che un qualche oggetto che accidentalmente infili la sua imboccatura possa danneggiare una o più lamelle della girante e per prendere il flusso d'aria o dalla parte interna della stampante (prelievo da due zone di strati di temperatura) oppure dalla parte più bassa della camera per massimizzare l'effetto di raffreddamento del pezzo in stampa. Aiuta anche ad abbassare in qualche misura l'aggressività del rumore della ventola. Da incollare alla ventola una volta che ne abbiate valutata la sua funzionalità o utilizzando del biadesivo sottile..
