Bee Themed Coasters Set of 6 - With Coaster Holder

Set of 6 Coasters with a bee and honey theme. The files include the holder. 

The multi-material coaster sets have 2 bottom layers of TPU with PLA printed on top of the TPU. I recommend using a build plate that TPU can be easily removed from such as a PEO plate, or PEI plate with glue. Patterned build plates will leave a cool design on the coaster surfaces.

DO NOT print the coasters on textured PEI without glue or they will be ruined when removing from the build plate.

You can change the filaments in the slicer to match your own, but don’t change the order of filament, as this will affect temperature settings. 

The included coaster holder works great with 3 rubber feet added.

Printing & Assembly

1. Load TPU into your printer (not through AMS) and start the print. 
2. When the print pauses for the programmed pause at layer 3: unload TPU, and load your choice of PLA
3. Print both build plates of coaster halves the same way. 
4. When all coaster halves are printed they can be glued together. Run a small bead of super glue around the inside of the lip on the bottom half, and then place the halves together and set a weight on it for about 1 minute. 
5. There is a small tab on each of the bottom halves that lines up with an indent on the top halves to ensure perfect alignment.
6. Repeat for the remaining 5 coasters.
