Description
These Gridfinity bins are built to match the Kadrick threaded heat insert set found here (Amazon). The sizes printed on the embossed labels match the: (Screw size) x (Insert length) x (Outer diameter). This way you don't need to keep the empty case with the printed dimensions on it once you fill the bins. The outer diameter is what should be used in your CAD designs when sizing the hole meant for the insert itself.
I found other bins similar to this, but they didn't match these sizes. So I built my own. I also made sure to include both magnet-ready and non-magnet base models. These are also stackable if desired, having enough clearance with the embossed label to fit flush while stacked.
These are also 4 Gridfinity units high. I chose this height after some tests where the larger inserts don't stack nicely in 2 or 3-unit high bins. This allows for more stock on hand without risking overflows on the larger inserts.
These are part of a set of Gridfinity organizer bins for screws, heat inserts, and rugged containers. Others in this set are:
I've included PETG and PLA profiles, and have single color or multi-color options for both.
