Ring with Parameters

Note: There is an updated version of this model that uses the Customizable feature in MakerLab to let you set the ring parameters (diameter, height, width) without using Fusion 360. The updated model is at: Ring - Parameterized by Ron MakerWorld: Download Free 3D Models

This was a project designed to learn to use parameters. The ring is based on Diameter (of the center of the ring), Height, and Width. One of the uploaded photos shows these dimensions.

There are two types of ring in the design, closed (complete circle) and open (320°) in case you want a little flex in the size.

I printed them in PLA and was surprised how strong they seem to be. I used 2 walls and 15% infill (gyroid).

Note: The updated f3d file prevents a filet failure on the open ring if Width > Height. This is a pretty unusual ring design, but the updated file keeps the filet working.
