MINECRAFT ORE TEA LIGHT BOX

For the upcoming Minecraft Movie, my son wanted some gifts for his friends for his part at the theatre watching the movie. 

Inspired by my other online design, I modelled this fun light box with the theme of Minecraft Ore. I wanted to give more detail to the design to represent that of the ore in the game.

The print is a quick print design that allows inserting a standard (37mm) LED tealight.

PRINT SETTINGS

OUTTER SHELL

  - Print with no supports if your printer is ok with bridging. 

  - Print with open end facing up

 - 0.4mm nozzle

 - 0.1mm first layer height. 0.2mm layer height for other layers

 - No Infil

 INSIDE SHELL

 - No support

 - Print open end facing up

 - 0.4mm Nozzle

 - 0.1mm first layer height. 0.2mm layer height for other layers

 - No Infil

BASE

 - No support

 - Print open end facing up

 - 0.4mm Nozzle

 - 0.1mm first layer height. 0.2mm layer height for other layers

 - 15% Infill

ASSEMBLY. 

 - Insert light into Base

 - Insert the inner shell into the outershell. Take care not to crack the shell. 

 - You may have to glue the light in place if it's loose. There are some variations in light sizes. 

 - Clip base to outer shell
