Paper Towel Holder (250mm and 290mm versions)

Updated on 11 Apr 2025:  I've made several updates to the design:

1. The clearance of the V-notch joint has been reduced from 0.15mm to 0.10mm for a tighter, more secure fit.
2. A cover has been added to conceal the screw holes, giving the assembled piece a cleaner appearance.
3. A longer version (290mm) is now available to accommodate wider paper towel rolls commonly used in some regions.

I figured someone might be looking for a paper towel holder that can be mounted under a cabinet shelf—either with adhesive or screws—so I modified my original design to suit this purpose. As with the first version, the goal is to keep it simple, minimalist, yet strong and durable.

Replacing the paper towel roll is straightforward: just unscrew the thumb nut on the right side, slide the entire shaft out from the left, swap in a new roll, and screw it back in place.

Due to the build volume limitations of my A1 Mini, the shaft is split into two parts. Once printed, the two halves can be press-fitted together, or secured with a drop of superglue if needed.
