1. Overhangs (20 Points)

  • 20 Points: Overhangs are flawless; there’s no noticeable sagging or loss of detail. Overhangs are smooth and precise without the need for excessive support.
  • 15 Points: Minor sagging or imperfections in the overhang areas, but overall, the print remains accurate with little impact on the detail.
  • 10 Points: Noticeable sagging in overhang areas or visible distortions. Some details may be lost or deformed.
  • 5 Points: Major overhang issues that affect the appearance and details of the print. The overhangs are poorly defined and may require significant repairs.
  • 0 Points: Significant overhang problems, such as complete collapse or failure of the printed parts.

2. Multicolor Printing (20 Points)

  • 20 Points: Excellent color transitions, with no bleeding or misalignment. The colors are vibrant, consistent, and well-executed, with no visible errors in color separation.
  • 15 Points: Minor color alignment issues, but the print still looks good overall. Transitions between colors are mostly clean.
  • 10 Points: Noticeable misalignment or color transitions not blending smoothly. The final look is somewhat off but still recognizable.
  • 5 Points: Major color misalignments or visible flaws in color transitions. The print looks messy and unpolished.
  • 0 Points: Poor multicolor execution; colors are badly mixed or the print fails to switch colors correctly.

3. Support Removal (20 Points)

  • 20 Points: Supports removed flawlessly, with no marks or damage left on the model. The surface where supports were attached is clean and smooth.
  • 15 Points: Supports removed with only slight remnants or scuffing that is not very noticeable. The model is still mostly clean.
  • 10 Points: Moderate marks or damage from support removal. Some areas may have small imperfections, but it doesn’t heavily affect the overall appearance.
  • 5 Points: Considerable damage or visible support remnants on the model that require significant cleanup. Some parts are difficult to recover.
  • 0 Points: Support removal has ruined parts of the model, leaving major visible flaws or making the print unusable.

4. Overall Appearance & Detail (40 Points)

  • 40 Points: The Tiger 1 tank is printed with exceptional detail, accuracy, and craftsmanship. All features (such as turret details, tracks, and hull) are clean, sharp, and well-defined.
  • 30 Points: Very good detail with some minor imperfections, but still a great representation of the Tiger 1 tank. Features are well-executed with only slight issues.
  • 20 Points: Noticeable loss of detail, with some features looking blurry or rough. The general shape is recognizable, but the print lacks crispness.
  • 10 Points: Major detail loss. The print may be blocky or poorly defined, and some features are hard to distinguish.
  • 0 Points: Very poor overall appearance; the print is deformed, or it lacks enough recognizable features of the Tiger 1 tank.

Total Score: (100 Points)

  • 90-100 Points: Outstanding – A near-perfect Tiger 1 tank 3D print.
  • 70-89 Points: Very Good – Solid print with minor issues.
  • 50-69 Points: Average – Noticeable issues, but still recognizable and functional.
  • 30-49 Points: Below Average – Significant issues in overhangs, supports, or overall appearance.
  • 0-29 Points: Poor – Unusable print with major flaws in multiple categories.

This grading scale should cover all the essential skills required for a 3D printed Tiger 1 tank, including overhang handling, multicolor printing, support removal, and the overall look of the model.
