Printed and assembled model is approximately 35cm in diameter.
Fits on A1 mini plate and prints without any supports.

Eyes print separately to avoid wasteful color swaps.

Changes over the old version

• Remodeled tentacles to increase length, improve bed adhesion and to remove old the grid -support.
• New head shape with more consistent fitting sockets for the tentacles and new tentacle orientation.

• Two pupil sizes. One for seeing near, and one for seeing far.

   

Update April 25, 2025

• Changed color assignments so it's easy to change color without repainting.
  • Slot 1 is the main color for octopus and tentacles.
  • Slot 2 is the bottom of the body and tentacles.
  • Slot 3 is the eyes
  • Slot 4 the pupils

• Improved strength of the first joint in the tentacles.
• Improved layout for A1 mini so only the eyes are on a separate plate.

After printing
- Please wait for the plate to cool down before removing the print as it consists of some small, delicate parts.

- Plug eyes into the head. They should fit tightly, but glue might be necessary depending on your filament choice and printer settings.
- Plug the tentacles in the head. It was designed to be a press fit, but, again, glue might be necessary depending on your filament choice and printer settings.
