Description

My take on a tiny whoop case.

 

Available in both 65 and 75mm variants

 

The features include: 

  • Completely 3d printed no glueing or other materials required
  • Allow the whoop to be easily removed without tipping the case
  • Clips securely shut for peace of mind
  • Hold up to 10 1s 300mah lipo batteries for the Air65, not including what would also fit inside the whoops itself, allowing for a total of 11 to be carried at once.
  • Allow for organization of batteries while flying, the lid features slots to hold up to 6 batteries upright ready to go after they've come off the charger. This allows three discrete zones for the batteries. (  1.Charging   2. Upright presented for a quick pack swap    3. In the case body while discharged. Easy to cycle packs with no confusion about charge states.  )

The hinge has been designed to friction fit with 1.75mm filament, its best to use needle nose pliers to help insert the filament without bending it. Alternately if it's too difficult to insert it all the way through from one side inserting two halves from each side works well too.

 

Initially the clip is quite tight however loosens to a nicer tension after a bit of use.
