Rocket Benchy -A tribute that shoots for the stars

Ten years ago, the 3D Benchy was born—and it quickly became an icon of 3D printing. More than just a test print, it became a symbol. A friendly, clever, and approachable model that has guided generations of makers through their first calibrations, first test prints, and countless experiments.

To celebrate this milestone, I wanted to pay tribute with a remix that stays true to the Benchy's spirit, but completely changes the horizon: RocketBenchy is my vision of Benchy in the future. No longer sailing the seas, but blasting off into space.

 

This model was carefully designed with a strong focus on printability and optimization. Every part has been tuned to offer a smooth and satisfying printing experience.

 

RocketBenchy looks great in any color. I chose a bright palette (red, orange, yellow) to give it a vibrant, playful vibe—but it also shines in metallic, glow-in-the-dark, or transparent filaments for a truly cosmic effect.

 

 

This model is a tribute to a 3D printing legened, every maker needs a Benchy-and now, a rocket-powered one too!

 

This isn’t just a model. It’s a thank-you to the little boat that taught us so much.
