Description
This is a small (about 16 mm tall) ball and socket joint link that snaps together to create a long flexible arm. A small amount of force is needed to snap the pieces together. There is a 4mm hole in the tip of the end of the ball to allow for stringing through wires, lights, etc.
I printed in PETG and the pieces are plenty sturdy enough, I have not tried PLA but should work the same with possibly less strength.
Print with ball side down, socket side up. I suggest adding a tiny support brace on the side of the model near the bed when printing to make sure the piece does not become detached from the bed mid-print, but this may not be necessary with good adhesion.
